Strengthening Global Color Quality: Inside Classic Fashion’s natific CCP Journey

As brands continue to require faster, more consistent, and more sustainable color decisions, natific’s Color Certification Program (CCP) has become a trusted benchmark for vendors and agents around the world.

The program thoroughly evaluates color matching capabilities, equipment, workflows, and process control, giving certified vendors a proven framework for delivering reliable color decisions for brands and retailers.

Building Confidence in Daily Color Decisions

Classic Fashion (Jordan) embodies the real-world impact of natific certification. Their labs handle daily approvals of lab dips and production on behalf of major global apparel brands, which is how they began their relationship with natific and the CCP.

We spoke with Nuwan Buddhika, AGM–Laboratory, about his team’s experience preparing for and completing their most recent re-certification (performed every 2 years to maintain certification status), and what natific certification means for their operations.

Classic Fashion’s scale underscores the value of achieving and maintaining certification, Nuwan shared.

“Rooted in Jordan, Classic Fashion stands as a leader in innovation and sustainability in apparel manufacturing.

Established in 2003, it has grown into the largest garment manufacturer in the MENA region. With a talented team of 35,000, Classic Fashion operates 20 state of the art factories across Jordan, producing an impressive 500,000 garments daily. The company also runs three advanced laboratories in Jordan — all proudly natific certified.”

Preparing Through natific’s Digital Training Platform

The team utilized the online preparation courses on natific’s eServices platform to prepare for re-certification, an experience Nuwan describes as both efficient and empowering.

“The eService platform has been a great learning hub. Its user-friendly interface and rich resources helped us prepare confidently for a successful audit.”

This preparation proved especially important this year, when Classic Fashion added two new colorists. “Thanks to the eService training and the onsite opening meeting, they felt comfortable and well prepared.”

An Expert-Led Audit Experience

While the CCP process is known for being thorough and professional, Nuwan emphasizes that natific’s auditors bring a collaborative, coaching-oriented approach.

“Our initial audit was conducted by Mr. Christoph Bergmann, followed by subsequent audits led by Mr. Peter Yu, Mr. Mike Ou, and most recently Ms. Claudia Isler. We never felt they were ‘just auditors’—instead, they were extremely friendly, supportive, and genuinely guiding. Their appreciation of our colorists’ ability to judge color gave us greater confidence in our decisions.”

Why natific Certification Matters

For vendors such as Classic Fashion, natific certification provides a critical layer of trust and autonomy.

“Although color decisions can be complex and subjective, color certification enhances the confidence of every colorist’s judgment. This is especially valuable for vendors in countries like Jordan, where brand color teams are not locally based. Certification allows vendors to speed up processes, saving both time and money.”

Nuwan’s message to other suppliers considering the CCP is simple:
“There’s no need to hesitate — just initiate the process, and you’ll be glad you did.”

More About natific Certification

While CCP, highlighted in this newsletter, is intended for agents and vendors, we also provide certifications for mills, dyehouses, and colorists of all levels. We operate in over 30 countries around the world, certifying 2000+ colorists at hundreds of companies.

natific certifications are not brand-specific and the certifications are valid for 2 years, at which point, a re-certification must be performed. Read more about the different certifications we offer.

Through e-learning, hands-on audits, training, and tailored recommendations, natific helps suppliers achieve faster approvals, higher accuracy, and more efficient color communication across the supply chain.
